Al Capone was born in Brooklyn New York in 1899 on January 17th. Al Capone's full name is Alphonse Gabriel Capone. When he was growing up Al Capone dropped out of school at age 14. As he was growing up he had to be smart and tough because of were he lived. He was exposed to many gangs and he started getting caught up in gang activity when he was at a young age. One of the gangs he got involved in was the Brooklyn Rippers. Al Capone as he grew up became a well knowen gangster. He died when his syphilis came back that he had got during his teenage years and it lead to brain damage. His brain damage lead to his death on January 25th 1947.
